New Delhi: Conveyance Allowance News: There is news of work for central employees. The government has decided to make a bumper increase in one more allowance. Actually, central employees get different allowances from the 7th Pay Commission (7th Pay Commission). In this, allowances are also different in different departments.

In this sequence, the government has recently presented a tremendous gift for government doctors. There has been an increase in the conveyance allowance of government doctors. In this, the maximum benefit has been given to the employees who drive by car. This time the allowance for central employees has increased manifold. Not only this, the allowance of doctors using two-wheeler and public transport has also increased.

How much allowance will you get?

Taking a big decision, the central government has increased the limit of conveyance allowance for car-driven doctors. That is, now they will get maximum allowance of Rs 7,150 every month. It is worth noting that the issue of conveyance allowance for all Central Health Service (CHS) doctors working in hospitals/pharmacy/stores under CGHS units under the Central Government was pending for a long time. Now a decision has been taken on this. Under this, every time dearness allowance increases by 50%, the conveyance allowance will also increase by 25%, like other DA linked allowances.

These are the terms and conditions for taking allowance

As per the government order, the medical officer is required to pay an average of 20 visits to the hospital every month or 20 outside his normal duty hours. With this the number of hospital visits is less than 20 times and more than 6. Under this, there will be a minimum conveyance allowance of Rs 375, Rs 175 and Rs 130 per month. On the other hand, if the number of coming home or going to the hospital is less than 6 then the allowance will not be given.

How to get conveyance allowance?

Now let’s talk about how you will get vehicle allowance. For this, no specialist / medical officer will get any daily allowance or mileage allowance for traveling on official duty within a radius of 8 km or more within the municipal limits of the city. According to this order, in case of specialists posted in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and Safdarjung Hospital under CGHS, conveyance allowance will be admissible only to those who have been appointed to multiple posts.

Certificate is mandatory

  • According to this order, for claiming conveyance allowance, it will be mandatory to give certificate to the specialist/medical officer along with the monthly bill.
  • No conveyance allowance will be admissible while on duty, on leave and during any temporary transfer.
  • Medical officers/specialists claiming the lowest rate and not using motorcar or motorcycle/scooter will also have to submit a certificate along with the salary bill.
