Good news: Farmers get sprinkler set with 90 percent subsidy, learn scheme conditions and application process

A special scheme for small and marginal farmers is being run by the Uttar Pradesh Government. If farmers want to irrigate by sprinkler method, then they can avail this scheme. Under this, subsidies are being provided on sprinkler sets. Farmers can irrigate crops in less water using the sprinkler method. Farmers are being motivated to increase crop production by adopting drip irrigation. For this, farmers can also take advantage of Sarkari subsidy.



What is the subsidy scheme on sprinklers? (What is the subsidy scheme on sprinklers?)
Up to 90 percent subsidy is being given to the farmers on installation of sprinkler sets. This subsidy will be valid for 2 hectares. For this, up to 80 percent subsidy will be given to install sprinkler sets on more land. The goal of this scheme is to prevent wastage of water during irrigation of crops, therefore, emphasis is being laid on irrigation in the state by installing sprinkler sets. Explain that through this set, water can be transported directly to the roots of crops by pipes, thus saving wages.

Eligibility for subsidy
The farmer must be from Uttar Pradesh.

The farmer should have boring in working condition.



In the selected development blocks, farmers will be selected through notice boards of departmental offices, regional departmental personnel.

If the farmers want to take advantage of this subsidy, then they can apply by going to the official website of the Agriculture Department of Uttar Pradesh http://www.upagriculture.com/.

The cost of installing a sprinkler set
If farmers install sprinkler sets in 1 hectare, then it costs about 70 thousand to 1.40 lakh rupees. The farmer has to spend this amount first. After this, 90 percent of the total cost is returned to the bank account.
