New Delhi : UPI payment users take note. From January 1 (1 January), you may have to pay additional charges if you use Amazon, Google Pay and Payphone. In fact, the National Payments Corporation of India has decided to levy an additional charge on the UPI Payment Service (UPI Payment) run by third party app providers from 1 January.

According to the News 18 report, NPCI has decided to impose a 30% cap on the use of third party UPI payment users in India from 1 January 2021, after which it is believed that its users may find it expensive to use it.

Who will be affected – It is being told that this decision of NPCI will not affect Paytm. At the same time, it will definitely affect the consumer of the company like Google Pay, Amazon Pay and Phone Pay. However, the company has not yet taken any decision on this.

Why took the decision- Please tell that the NPCI has taken this decision to prevent third party monopoly in UPI payment system in future. Cheap service was being provided to the users by these apps, after which NPCI has taken this step.

Google Pay took this decision – Earlier, Google Pay has said in a decision that the consumer will have to pay money on instant money transfer. However, this decision will not be applicable in India.
