Actually, the Union Finance Ministry has decided to pay salary and allowances to the central employees of Maharashtra before time in view of Ganesh Chaturthi. According to the order issued by the Finance Ministry, the salary will be transferred to the employees on Monday, 26 August itself. Let us tell you that earlier the employees were paid salary on the 30th of the month. It is known that the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on the 27th and this festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm in Maharashtra.
Order of Ministry of Finance
- Advance Payment of Salary:Â Salary for August 2025 to all Central Government employees (including Defence, Postal & Telecom) will be paid on 26th August 2025 in the State of Maharashtra.
- Benefits to Industrial Employees:Â The Industrial Employees of the Central Government will also be paid the salary for August 2025 in advance on August 26, 2025.
- Advance Payment of Pension:Â Pension for August 2025 to all Central Government pensioners in Maharashtra state will also be disbursed by banks and PAOs on 26th August 2025.
- Salary/Pension Adjustment:Â This will be treated as advance payment and will be adjusted after the full salary/pension of August 2025 is determined. If any adjustment is to be made, it will be done from the salary/pension of August 2025 only.
