Finance Minister announced: TV and mobile phones will be cheaper, custom duty will increase on gold and silver goods

The Finance Minister announced to reduce custom duty on some TV parts to 2.5%. Basic custom duty on heat coil reduced to 15%. Custom duty will increase on gold and silver items. The Finance Minister said that he will cut the slab of custom duty rate. Along with this, it was announced to reduce custom duty on many items. Nirmala Sitharaman said that blended CNG will be kept out of GST. The custom duty relief period has been extended for lithium iron cells.
