How to file a complaint?
For any problem related to Aadhaar, you have to visit the official website of UIDAI www.uidai.gov.in. Here you have to click on ‘File a Complaint’ in the ‘Grievance Redressal Mechanism’ in the ‘Contact and Support’ tab. After this a new page will open. Here enter the Aadhaar enrollment number and the date and time present on the enrollment slip. Now enter the name, mobile number, email ID, PIN code city / village / town and select the complaint type and category. You must file your complaint within 150 words. After this enter the captcha code and click ‘Submit’. After this your complaint will be filed.

After registering the complaint, you can also check its status. For this, go to www.uidai.gov.in. Here again, click on ‘Check Compliant Status’ in the ‘Grievance Redressal Mechanism’ of the ‘Contact and Support’ tab. Enter the previously generated Compliant ID and Captcha Code. Click on Check Status. Here you will see the status of the complaint. Apart from this, you can also file a complaint through phone number. For this, you have to call the toll free number 1947.
