New Delhi: Aadhaar-UAN Link: There is very important news for Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) account holders. If you have not yet linked your Universal Account Number (UAN) with Aadhar Card, then complete this work by Wednesday (November 30).

The last date for Aadhaar and UN link from EPFO (Aadhaar-UAN Link Deadline) is 30 November. If you do not link your Aadhaar with UAN within the stipulated time frame, then you may have to face many problems.

Will not be able to use EPFO services
For example, the company’s contribution to your account will be stopped. With this, you may also face difficulty in withdrawing money from the EPF account. Not only this, you will not be able to use the services of EPFO.

You can link UAN with Aadhaar in four ways
It is quite easy to link UAN with Aadhaar. This can be done in four ways sitting at home. First through member service portal, second through UMANG app, third through OTP verification on e-KYC portal of EPFO and fourth through biometric credentials on e-KYC portal of EPFO.

This is Aadhaar-UAN Link Process

  • First of all go to the portal of EPFO Member e-SEWA https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/.
  • There login by entering UAN number and password.
  • After this, going to the Manage tab, click on KYC.
  • A new page will open here. On Add KYC, enter your Aadhaar number and PAN number (PAN).
  • Here you will see your details in the Pending KYC tab.
  • From here EPFO will approve the linking, after which your Aadhaar information will appear in the Approved KYC tab.
  • In this way your Aadhaar will be linked with EPF.

The EPFO has also appointed a Grievance Redressal Officer to address the problems faced by account holders in filing electronic challan cum return (ECR) due to linking or non-linking of Aadhaar number. He can be contacted at ecr.help@epfindia.gov.in.
