Crores of employees across the country have EPFO accounts. Every month, some part of the employee’s salary is deducted and deposited in the EPFO account. This money works to secure the employee’s future at the financial level. If you are also associated with EPFO, then there is a big news for you. PF account holders will now be able to withdraw money from UPI and ATM as well. The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization i.e. EPFO is going to launch the EPFO 3.0 platform soon. This change will be implemented this year. After the implementation of this change, more than 8 crore employees of the country will get direct benefit from it. After the arrival of EPFO 3.0, employees will get many types of facilities. With this, employees will be able to withdraw money from their account easily. Apart from all this, after the arrival of EPFO 3.0, the process of updating your details and claim will also be faster.
In EPFO 3.0, employees will be able to withdraw money from ATM by activating their UAN number and linking Aadhaar to the account. They will not have to face any problems in this. EPFO will issue a special type of ATM card for its subscribers.
This ATM card will be linked to the account of the PF account holders. The special thing is that the card given by EPFO will be exactly like an ATM card. This will be called EPFO withdrawal card. Just like a bank debit card, you will be able to withdraw money from the PF account using this card.
After the arrival of EPFO 3.0, if a person wants to withdraw money from his PF account through UPI, then he will have to link his UPI account to the PF account.
For a long time, employee organizations have been demanding to make the process of withdrawing money from PF account flexible. Keeping all these needs in mind, this new facility will be introduced.
