EPF Withdrawal: Online PF removal is very easy, learn step-by-step process

New Delhi, Business Desk. The Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) allows withdrawal of PF even before retirement due to various reasons. Due to Kovid-19, even if your job has been lost or salary has been cut, you can withdraw the amount of PF to a certain extent. Apart from this, you can withdraw money from your PF account to buy or build a house, in case of children’s marriage or education or any other type of medical emergency. In today’s online era, you can request to withdraw funds deposited in PF account through EPF portal without any hassle in few minutes. However, it is to be kept in mind here that you can Claim Online EPF only by following the rules related to EPF Scheme. 

It is important to keep these things in mind before online PF claim:

1. Your Universal Account Number (UAN) must be activated.

2. Aadhaar Number You must be linked to UAN and verified.

3. The bank account number and the correct IFSC Code should be attached to your UAN.


4. Aadhaar linked mobile number must be activated.

5. Your KYC documents must be updated.

The step-by-step process of EPF Withdrawal is as follows:

1. Login to the EPFO ​​Unified Member Portal with your UAN, password and captcha code.


2. After login, click on Claim (Form-31, 19, 10C & 10D) under ‘Online Services’ tab.

3. Now a new page will open in front of you. On this page, you have to enter the bank account number linked to the UAN. After this, we have to click on Verify.

4. After confirming the bank account information, you will have to confirm the terms and conditions stated by the EPFO.

5. Now click on ‘Proceed For Online Claim’.

6. After this you have to select the reason for removing PF from the drop down list. At such a time, you will get the same options that you deserve.


7. PF account holder now has to fill his full address. Also, a scan copy of the check or bank passbook will also have to be uploaded.

8. Now you have to click on ‘Get Aadhaar OTP’, selecting the terms and conditions.

9. OTP will be sent to the mobile number registered with Aadhaar.

10. You can submit the form after filling the OTP at the specified location.
