EPF balance check: The interest rate for the financial year 2024-25 will be credited to the subscribers’ accounts this week by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization. This has come to light in the Times of India report. Let us tell you, the government has fixed the interest rate of 8.25 percent for the current financial year on 22 May 2025.

How to check your EPF balance?

First of all go to the EPFO ​​portal. There, click on the FOR Employees section in the Our Service section. After that select Member Passbook. Now log in through UAN number and password. You can check your PF balance.

Also check on UMANG App

First of all download UMANG App. Select EPFO All Services. Check passbook here. Balance can also be found out from this.

Can you check balance through missed call service?

1- Mobile number should be activated with UAN.

2- KYC should be available through bank account number, Aadhaar and PAN.

3- Now customers should dial 9966044425 on registered mobile number. Please note, the phone will automatically disconnect after two rings. There will be no charge for this call. You will get balance information within minutes.

Balance can be checked through SMS

1- UAN should be activated and linked to Aadhaar, PAN or bank account.

2- Send SMS from registered mobile number.

3- eKYC should be completed from UAN portal.

4- Message EPFOHO UAN LAN to 7738299899.

5- Write 12 digit Universal Account Number in place of UAN.

6- Replace LAN with your language. (e.g. HIN for Hindi, MAR for Marathi.) You will get your balance information through an SMS in your language.
