Dispose of the applications given for electricity connection in one month. The District Magistrate gave this order to the Executive Engineer in a meeting held in the review building on Tuesday.

In the meeting, the non-fulfillment of the target set for the installation of smart meters by the Electricity Department was reviewed. The District Magistrate directed that regarding the outstanding electricity bills of the departments, he directed all the departments to pay their outstanding electricity bills to the Electricity Department immediately. Instructed to complete 100% work of NH-80 by the end of June.

Executive Engineer Path Pramandal informed that 18 schemes of road repair (OPRMC) have been taken under package one 29A and 12 schemes under 29B. These are being monitored every month. In the review of 15th Finance and 6th Finance Plan, it was found that the Gram Panchayat and Panchayat Samiti still have to spend the allotted amount.

The District Magistrate directed the Deputy Development Commissioner to hold a meeting and monitor and supervise it. In the review of pending cases in the Gram Kachhari, it was found that 472 civil and 315 criminal cases have been filed in the Gram Kachhari in the district, out of which 85 civil and 47 criminal cases have been disposed.

The District Magistrate directed to seek clarification from those Gram Kachhari secretaries, whose cases are not being disposed, and to suspend their salary. He said that if civil cases are disposed in the Gram Kachhari, then there will be no criminal cases.

Only when civil cases are not disposed, they turn into criminal cases over time. If the case is resolved at the village level itself, then the number of civil court cases will also decrease. Also, the order of the lower court is considered to be a strong basis. Gram Kachheri is the lower court.
