Public sector Bank of Baroda is giving interest ranging from 4.25 percent to 7.65 percent to its customers on FD schemes of different tenures.

Bank of Baroda Savings Scheme: Bank of Baroda is the second largest government bank in the country in terms of market cap. Crores of Indians have accounts in Bank of Baroda (BoB). This government bank is giving great interest to its customers on savings accounts. Today we are going to tell you about such a savings scheme of Bank of Baroda, in which you can get fixed interest of Rs 16,022 by depositing just Rs 1 lakh. Yes, we are talking about Bank of Baroda’s 2-year FD scheme.

BoB is giving 7.00 to 7.50 percent interest on 2-year FD

Public sector Bank of Baroda is giving its customers interest ranging from 4.25 percent to 7.65 percent on FD schemes of different tenures. This government bank is giving 7.15 percent interest to general citizens and 7.65 percent interest to senior citizens on 444 days special FD scheme. Bank of Baroda is giving bumper interest of 7.00 percent to general citizens and 7.50 percent to senior citizens on 2-year FD. Let us tell you that after the Reserve Bank of India reduced the repo rate, Bank of Baroda also cut the interest rates of its savings schemes.

If you deposit Rs 1 lakh, you will get fixed interest of Rs 16,022

By depositing only Rs 1 lakh in 2-year FD of Bank of Baroda, fixed interest of Rs 16,022 can be obtained. If a common citizen, whose age is less than 60 years and he deposits Rs 1,00,000 in a 2-year FD in Bank of Baroda, then he will get a total of Rs 1,14,888 on maturity. In this, Rs 14,888 will be given as fixed interest. Similarly, if a senior citizen, whose age is 60 years or more and he deposits Rs 1,00,000 in it, then he will get a total of Rs 1,16,022 on maturity, in which Rs 16,022 will be given as fixed interest.
