Excitel is one of the many broadband service providers in the country. The company gives tough competition to other companies on the basis of affordable plans.

If you ever talk about getting cheap, high-quality fiber broadband service in India, JioFiber will always be at the top of the list. However, Excitel is actually a big competitor to JioFiber in the same regard. Not only for JioFiber, but also for Airtel Xstream Fiber and BSNL Bharat Fiber for Airtel. Excitel’s broadband plans are more affordable than JioFiber plans.

Excitel vs JioFiber Broadband Plans

Excitel offers only three broadband plans to the users. These plans come with 100 Mbps, 200 Mbps and 300 Mbps download/upload speeds. The company promises to give users unlimited data without any restrictions on fair-use-policy (FUP) limits.

The plans of Excitel are very cheap,

the base plan with 100 Mbps speed comes for Rs 699 per month. Whereas, the 200 Mbps and 300 Mbps plans come for Rs 799 and Rs 899 per month respectively. Excitel offers the most affordable 200 Mbps and 300 Mbps broadband plans. But the matter does not end there; The longer you opt for the validity, the cheaper the plan becomes.

For example, if you take a plan with 100 Mbps speed for 12 months, then instead of paying Rs 699 every month, you will have to pay Rs 399 per month (12 months x Rs 399). The same applies to the 200 Mbps and 300 Mbps plans as well. Excitel also offers over-the-top (OTT) benefits with its 300 Mbps broadband plan if users buy it for at least three months.

JioFiber cap 3.3TB on data limit per month

In comparison, JioFiber offers its 100 Mbps plan at the same price as Excitel’s 100 Mbps plan (Rs 699 per month). However, JioFiber puts a 3.3TB cap on the data limit every month, while Excitel offers virtually unlimited data.

Also, Jio offers its 300 Mbps plan for Rs 1,499, which is very expensive as compared to Excitel users. However, it is worth noting that JioFiber also offers users a free set-top box (STB) with its high-end broadband plans. Apart from this, there are many OTT benefits offered by Jio. Thus, in a way, Jio offers customers a great value with its plans and services, but there is no way it can challenge Excitel’s plans.

If you are looking for pocket-friendly high-speed broadband plans, Excitel will make a better choice than JioFiber. If you also want OTT benefit, then you can take 300 Mbps broadband plan for 3 months from Excitel.
