BOB LBO Vacancy 2025: A great opportunity has come up for the youth seeking jobs in the banking sector. Bank of Baroda has released the official notification for direct recruitment to 2500 Local Bank Officer (LBO) posts. These recruitments will be done under Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMG/S-I). The application process has started from 4th July 2025 and interested candidates can apply online till 11:59 pm on 3rd August 2025.
What should be the qualification
Graduation from any recognized university is mandatory for this recruitment. Apart from this, applicants must have at least one year of work experience in the post of officer in a scheduled commercial bank or regional rural bank. The special thing is that the experience of NBFC, Cooperative Bank, Small Finance Bank, Payment Bank or Fintech companies will not be valid. The age of the candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years on July 1, 2025. As per the rules, reserved categories will get age relaxation.
CIBIL score should also be better
Along with this, the CIBIL score of the applying candidate must be 680 or above. The application fee has been kept at Rs 850 for General, OBC and EWS category while for SC, ST, Women, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen it is ₹ 175. Candidates can apply by visiting www.bankofbaroda.in.
Apart from the online written test, the selection process will include Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT), Psychometric Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. This entire process can be challenging for those candidates who are preparing only on the basis of academic qualification.
Candidates appointed to this post will be given an initial basic salary of Rs 48,480 along with other allowances. The pay scale will be from Rs 48,480 to Rs 85,920. There will be a probation period of 12 months after appointment. The candidate will get posting in the same state from where he has applied and knowledge of the local language will be mandatory.
