Big news! Government give approval to increase DA of government employees, know how much DA increase

The government has fulfilled the wishes of the employees waiting for the approval of dearness allowance in Uttarakhand. The Dhami cabinet has approved the proposal to give revised 11 percent dearness allowance to all the teachers and personnel of the state. This decision will be valid from July 1, 2021. With this increase, the revised allowance of employees has gone up to 28 percent. The government has also issued its mandate late on Friday evening.



Along with this, the government also gave the right to freehold the land to the Nazul holders. One Time Settlement Scheme of Development Authorities has been extended till March 31, 2022 to legalize illegal constructions. Giving information about the decisions, government spokesperson Subodh Uniyal said that 29 proposals had come in the cabinet on Friday. Of these, three were canceled, while the Chief Minister has been authorized to take a decision on two.

The government has also decided to give Municipal Corporation status to Srinagar Municipality. Along with this, Lohaghat Nagar Panchayat has been upgraded and given the status of Municipality. Whereas in Tehri district a new nagar panchayat has been formed as Tapovan and new municipality has been formed as Nagla in USnagar. It was earlier decided to make Nagla a Nagar Panchayat, but even before it was duly mandated, it has now been upgraded and given the status of a municipality. Related news

The government has taken important decisions in the cabinet. It has been decided to give DA to the employees at par with the Centre. This will result in additional expenditure of Rs 150 crore per month on the state.
