From now on if you want to get a new mobile number or telephone connection then your KYC will be completely digital. That is, you will not have to submit any kind of paper for KYC. Now no form will have to be filled for all the work like getting the postpaid SIM prepaid. For this digital KYC will be valid.





Now there will be no need to fill physical form for getting new connection or converting prepaid number to postpaid or postpaid to prepaid. Telecom companies will be able to fill this form through digital medium. The government has approved this decision in the cabinet meeting.

According to the new rules, you will be able to do self KYC through the app of the SIM provider. For this you have to pay only Re 1 .





According to the current rules, if a customer changes his prepaid number to postpaid or postpaid to prepaid, then he has to complete the KYC process every time. But now KYC will have to be done only once.

Some documents are asked from the customers for KYC. Although this work has to be done by going to the place where you are taking the SIM, but if you yourself do your KYC by uploading documents on the online platform, then it is called Self KYC. This can be done through website or application.
