PM Kisan Scheme: If Rs.6000 is deposited in the account of ineligible farmers, it will be withdrawn. Failure to do so will result in FIR being filed.

A scam has been uncovered in various parts of the country in the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, an ambitious scheme of the Modi government. Big scams came to light from Tamil Nadu to Barabanki and Mirzapur in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, after these cases came to light, the government has started taking some drastic steps. Money will be refunded from farmers or other persons who have availed the money under this scheme despite being ineligible. Failure to do so will result in FIR being lodged against the person concerned by the Department of Agriculture for recovery of government money.

Just last month, it came to light that there was a big scam in the PM Shetkari Sanman Nidhi Yojana at Barabanki in UP. Two and a half lakh ineligible citizens have benefited from this scheme. Efforts are underway to recover the amount from the administration.

Earlier, a similar case was reported in Ghazipur in September. The names of 1.5 lakh fake farmers have been canceled here. Work is underway to recover money from ineligible farmers through verification. Tamil Nadu has the largest case in the country in this regard. According to sources, the services of 96 contract employees have been canceled. Action is being taken against 34 officers. A total of 52 people have been arrested after FIRs were filed in 13 districts.

Similarly, if you accidentally take advantage of this plan if you are ineligible, it is imperative to refund it. The Union Ministry of Agriculture has already written a letter to the state governments informing them that if the ineligible citizens have received money from the scheme, how will it be refunded. If these people have received this money through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer), they will be refunded only through DBT.

How to get a refund?

According to sources, such beneficiaries can apply to the banks for a refund transaction. The money will be returned to the government by the bank. The Center has asked the state government to help the beneficiaries refund the money. Similarly, refunds from ineligible persons should be deposited at https://bharatkosh.gov.in/.
