Bank Recruitment 2025: There is good news for those who want to work in the bank. Recruitment has come out for 750 posts of Local Bank Officer (JMGS I) in Punjab and Sindh Bank. The application process for this has started on 20 August. Online application has to be done by visiting the website of Punjab and Sindh Bank https://punjabandsindbank.co.in/. The last date to fill the application form is 4 September 2025.
The last date for correction in the form and fee payment along with application for Punjab and Sindh Recruitment 2025 is also 4 September. After this, the print out of the form can be taken till 19 September 2025.
Qualification for the post of Local Bank Officer
Educational Qualification – Graduation degree in any subject and 18 months experience.
Age Limit- The age limit for this recruitment is 20 to 30 years. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in the maximum age limit. SC and ST will get five years relaxation in age limit and OBC will get three years relaxation.

How will the selection be done?
Recruitment for the post of Local Bank Officer (JMGS I) in Punjab and Sindh Bank will be through online written test, screening, interview, final merit list, local language test. The written test will be conducted in October 2025.
Application Fee
The application fee for this recruitment is Rs 850 plus tax for General, EWS and OBC. Whereas, for SC and ST it is Rs 100 plus tax.
Bond Period
The selected candidates will have to serve three years of compulsory service. A bond of three years will have to be filled. On leaving the job before three years, three months’ gross salary (initial basic + DA till resignation and special allowance + DA on special allowance) will have to be given. The probation period will be of 6 months.
