You can open an FD account in Bank of Baroda for a period of 7 days to 10 years. This government bank is offering interest ranging from 3.50 percent to 7.20 percent on FD accounts to its customers. Today we will learn about such an FD scheme of Bank of Baroda, in which a fixed interest of Rs 30,228 can be obtained by depositing Rs 2 lakh.
Bank of Baroda is giving the highest interest on FD of 444 days
Despite the increasing popularity in the stock market and mutual funds, the status of FD remains intact. On FD accounts, customers get back the entire principal amount with fixed interest after a fixed period. Public sector Bank of Baroda is giving the highest interest to its customers on FDs of 444 days duration. This government bank is giving 6.60 percent interest to general citizens, 7.10 percent to senior citizens and 7.20 percent to super senior citizens (people above 80 years of age) on FDs of 444 days duration. Bank of Baroda is offering 6.50 percent interest to general citizens, 7.00 percent to senior citizens and 7.10 percent to super senior citizens on 2-year FDs.
Deposit ₹2,00,000 and get fixed interest of ₹30,228
If you are a normal citizen i.e. your age is less than 60 years and you deposit Rs 2,00,000 in a 2-year FD scheme in Bank of Baroda, then you will get a total of Rs 2,27,528 on maturity, which also includes fixed interest of Rs 27,528. Similarly, if you are a senior citizen i.e. your age is above 60 years and you deposit Rs 2,00,000 in Bank of Baroda, then you will get a total of Rs 2,29,776 on maturity, which includes fixed interest of Rs 29,776 and if you are a super senior citizen and deposit Rs 2,00,000 in a 2-year FD scheme in Bank of Baroda, then you will get a total of Rs 2,30,228 on maturity, which also includes fixed interest of Rs 30,228.
