Bank Holidays: For the next 10 days, banks are going to be closed in different parts of the country due to different reasons. Apart from this, banking branches across the country will remain closed for a few days.


Bank Holidays: The month of August is full of festivals and in such a situation, the closure of the bank is also inevitable. If you look at the list of bank holidays issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), then for the next 10 days, banks are going to be closed in different parts of the country due to different reasons. Apart from this, banking branches across the country will remain closed for a few days.

August 11 – Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Dehradun, Jaipur and Shimla
August 12 – Kanpur and Lucknow (Occasion of Rakshabandhan)
August 13 – Patriot Day in Imphal and second Saturday in other parts
14 August – Sunday
15 August – Independence Day
16 August – Parsi New Year in Belapur, Mumbai and Nagpur
August 17 – Open for normal business
August 18 – On the occasion of Janmashtami Bhubaneswar, Dehradun, Kanpur and Lucknow
August 19 – Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Gangtok, Jaipur, Jammu, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla (Janmashtami)
