Today is the sixth Navratri and the fourth Saturday of the month of September. Most people are confused whether banks are open on the fourth Saturday? According to the rules of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks are closed only on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Whereas on the first, third and if there is any fifth Saturday, then banks remain open as usual on that day. Since 27 September is the fourth Saturday, therefore all government and private banks will remain closed on this day.
