Long weekend for Bakrid?
Banks will remain closed in Kerala on 6 June (Friday) due to Bakrid. After this, people of Kerala will get a three-day long weekend due to weekly holiday across the country on 7 June (Saturday) and on 8 June (Sunday).
What to do when banks are closed?
You can continue to use online / mobile banking (unless there is a technical problem). You can withdraw money from ATM if you need cash. Transactions related to cheque or promissory note will not happen on holidays, as it is applicable under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
