On July 5, banks will remain closed in Jammu and Srinagar on the occasion of Guru Hargobind Ji’s birth anniversary. Guru Hargobind Ji was the sixth Guru of Sikhism and this occasion is celebrated with great reverence there. However, this holiday is limited to Jammu and Kashmir only, in the rest of the states banks will open at normal time.
Weekend break on 12th and 13th July
Next week, July 12 is the second Saturday and July 13 is Sunday. According to RBI rules, banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. That is, banking services will be closed offline across the country on these two days.
