Bank Holiday: Banks will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday. Banks will be closed only in some states. Banks will remain open in all other states. Banks will be closed tomorrow on the occasion of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji’s birthday. Banks will be closed in Jammu and Kashmir on this occasion. All government offices, banks, schools, colleges, and institutions will be closed on this day.

Tuesday, September 23rd will be closed on account of the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji. Maharaja Hari Singh Ji was the last ruler of Jammu and Kashmir, remembered for his vision and modern thinking. He was born on September 23rd, 1895, and ascended the throne of the state in 1925. He was a great supporter of education, social reform, and the advancement of women.
