BJP is not opening its cards about Congress rebel Sachin Pilot. However, there is every possibility that Pilot will work to increase the number of anti-CM Gehlot MLAs in Congress instead of joining BJP at present. His strategy is to create an image of himself as a harassed leader by staying in Congress. If the Congress withdraws from the party, Pilot will opt for the new party. However, his last stop will be BJP.
However, after the rebellion from the Congress, Pilot is in constant touch with the BJP leadership. But the problem is of number force. Like Pilot Scindia, Gehlot could not muster the necessary legislators to bring down the government. Due to this, the BJP has had to change its strategy. Party sources say the pilots are a profitable deal for the BJP. Apart from his better hold in his own homogenous Gurjar community, Meena is also well placed in the community. However, if Pilot is immediately inducted into the BJP, then his supporting MLAs will have to resign. In such a situation, the strategy is that the pilots should keep a rebellious attitude and leave the matter to the Congress to decide about themselves.

BJP sources in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan say that Sachin became a victim of over-confidence. The pilot felt that at least 30 MLAs were ready to revolt with him. However, the actual situation was the opposite. Gehlot had prior knowledge of this and made a big strategy to demolish the pilot’s strategy and succeeded in it. Whereas in Madhya Pradesh, Scindia kept in constant touch with the legislators who had contact with them for about four months. Rebellion came on when these MLAs were fully convinced about their support.

The supporters of Vasundhara will have to convince
Sachin Pilot not yet but will join the BJP in the last moment. That too when he will be fully confident of the number of legislators needed to topple the Gehlot government. Meanwhile, the BJP will also have to sort out many clues at its level. Especially Vasundhara Raje will have to grope. Party sources say that currently around 45 MLAs are blind devotees of Vasundhara. In such a situation, the BJP will not be able to execute any of its future strategies without being cautious.
