Amazon Recruitment 2025: Amazon India on Monday (August 18) announced to create over 1,50,000 jobs at its fulfilment centres (FCs), sort centres and last-mile delivery stations ahead of the festive season, when e-commerce companies start massive sales.

Amazon India Jobs: The giant American e-commerce company Amazon is soon going to employ a large number of Indian people. Amazon India on Monday (August 18) announced to provide more than 1,50,000 jobs at its fulfillment centers (FC), sort centers and last-mile delivery stations ahead of the festive season. This is the time when e-commerce companies start selling on a large scale. Every year, thousands of jobs are created for workers in Amazon India, both direct and indirect, during major festival seasons like Diwali.

Abhinav Singh, Vice President, Amazon India and Australia Operations, said, “This festive season, we are focused on providing quick and reliable delivery to customers across every serviceable pin code in India. To achieve this, we have expanded our fulfillment and logistics network with more than 1,50,000 additional people. Many of these people continue to work even after the festivals. At the same time, a large number of people return to work with us during the annual festive season.”

He further said, “The company prioritises the safety and well-being of all associates, whether in fulfilment centres or on delivery routes.” Manisha Singh, an associate working at Amazon’s Bengaluru FC, told reporters that the company’s focus on safety gave her confidence while working in the operations network. The e-commerce company has said that jobs have been created in more than 400 cities, including Raipur, Jalandhar, Jodhpur, Ranchi and Jalgaon.

According to a statement, Amazon India has created opportunities for thousands of women associates as well as more than 2,000 differently-abled people in its network. The e-commerce company said that it has already added most of the new associates in preparation for the festive season.

The company also has a health initiative that offers free health checkups to over 80,000 delivery associates across major cities. This initiative helps bring essential healthcare services directly to last-mile delivery stations.
