It also has many security features. UIDAI has said that for ordering Aadhaar PVC card from the website, a payment of Rs 50 will have to be made.

If someone is making changes in their address, then UIDAI used to confirm this address by sending a letter in their name to their new address. Those who do not have any address proof in their own name could get the address updated through Address Validation Letter.

But this service has also been stopped by UIDAI. Now people can update their address on their own. For this, they have to visit UIDAI’s Self Service Update Portal https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/ssup/. Here you will click on ‘Proceed to Update Aadhaar’ and enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number.

After this you will get an OTP on your registered mobile number, after verifying which you can easily change the details of your Aadhar card address. But keep in mind that for this your mobile number must be registered or linked with your Aadhaar number.
