For example, your Aadhaar card which is issued to the citizens of India by the Unique Identification Authority of India i.e. UIDAI. But many times some things get printed incorrectly in people’s Aadhaar card. This is how you can get things updated in Aadhaar:-
First Step
- If something is printed incorrectly on your Aadhaar card, you can get it corrected
- For this, first go to your nearest Aadhaar service center
- By going here, you have to first take an appointment and then go to the Aadhaar service center on the day you are called
- You have to first go here and get the correction form.
Second step
- This is the form that you need to fill out
- Fill in the required information in the form like your name, Aadhaar number etc.
- At the same time, if you are updating the address or changing the mobile number etc., then fill that also in this form.
- Along with this, if any related document is required, then attach it with the form.
Third Step
- Then you have to go to the concerned officerÂ
- Here you have to submit the form that you have filled, make sure that the form is filled correctly
- Also, if a copy of any document is attached with the form, then submit that as well and take the original copy of the document with you.
Fourth Step
- Now your biometrics are taken to verify you
- Then after everything is found to be correct, the thing that you want to get updated is updated in the system.
- After this, within a few days, that thing gets updated in your Aadhaar card for which you have to pay the fee.
