East Delhi Municipal Corporation has only 5 days left to avail property tax exemption. Tax exemption will be given to the owners only till July 31 on depositing property tax.
Wealth tax is very important to support the economic condition of the corporation. In view of the lockdown this time, the three corporations had extended the property tax collection till July 31. The eastern corporation alone got 40% less revenue than before due to the lockdown.
This time only 54 crore rupees have been received, whereas earlier it was more than 90 crores. Women and senior citizens are being given up to 30% exemption in depositing property tax till 31 July. There is a provision of 15 percent rebate for ordinary citizens. In order to enable more and more people to collect property tax, the Eastern Corporation will also organize camps at different places.

The height of the litter mountain of the Northern and Southern Corporation decreased slightly
after the Ghazipur landfill site, the height of the litter mountain under the Northern and Southern Corporation also decreased. Tromal machines have been installed at Bhalaswa under Northern Corporation and Okhla Landfill Site under Southern Corporation. Through this, more than 10 meters height has been reduced. At present, 17 trams are installed at Bhalswa landfill site and 4 at Okhla landfill site.
